Terms of Service — N-400 Prep

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the N-400 Prep service operated by ZTNA Labs LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as N-400 Prep (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by individuals preparing for the U.S. naturalization interview, who are typically 18 or older.

2. Educational Tool — No Legal Advice

N-400 Prep is an independent educational tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency.

Nothing in the Service is legal advice. The Service is not a substitute for an attorney. For any question about your specific immigration case, consult a qualified immigration attorney or accredited representative. Use of the Service does not guarantee that you will pass the naturalization interview, be approved for citizenship, or receive any other USCIS outcome.

3. Accounts

You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating an account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly at ztnalabs@gmail.com of any unauthorized access.
One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that appear to be used fraudulently.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service offers the following plans:

Free — $0. Civics flashcards, reading and writing practice, N-400 form guide, and progress tracking.
Standard — $14 per month. Everything in Free plus 3 AI mock interviews per month. Additional interviews $3.99 each.
Premium — $29 per month. Everything in Standard plus 12 AI mock interviews per month and priority scheduling. Additional interviews $1.99 each.
Panic Pack — $9.99 one-time. 72-hour emergency access including 3 AI mock interviews and a personalized study plan.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

7-Day Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or upgrade by emailing ztnalabs@gmail.com. Refunds are not available for the Panic Pack once a mock interview has been used. Renewals beyond the first billing period are not refundable, but you may cancel future renewals at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract the AI system, training data, or proprietary content
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) without our prior written consent
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its content
Submit content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third party’s rights
Probe, scan, or attempt to defeat our authentication, rate limiting, or other security controls
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

We may investigate, suspend, or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activity and report violations to law enforcement.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, including your practice answers and mock-interview turns (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. We do not use your User Content to train third-party AI models.

7. Intellectual Property

Civics questions and N-400 form content are based on publicly available USCIS materials. The Service software, design, branding, prompts, and AI configurations are owned by ZTNA Labs LLC and protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing ztnalabs@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI’s feedback will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific case. AI-generated content can contain mistakes; verify anything important with a qualified attorney or official USCIS resource.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZTNA LABS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

We are not liable for any USCIS decision, interview outcome, immigration application result, or related consequence. Your immigration matter is your responsibility.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZTNA Labs LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your access to or use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your User Content, or (d) your violation of any law or any third party’s rights.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 14 (Arbitration), any action arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

Please read this Section carefully. It limits how you can pursue a dispute against us.

Agreement to arbitrate. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (each a “Dispute”) will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small-claims court if your claim qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted in Cook County, Illinois, or, at your election, in your county of residence in the United States, or remotely.

Informal resolution first. Before filing arbitration, you agree to first email us at ztnalabs@gmail.com with a description of the Dispute and to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days.

Class-action waiver. You and ZTNA Labs LLC each agree to bring claims only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims of multiple persons.

Right to opt out. You may opt out of this Section 14 by emailing ztnalabs@gmail.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other portion of these Terms.

Federal Arbitration Act. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date and provide notice by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Service.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
